WTT - Bed for Bed **Lots of Pics**

I would like to find someone that has a really nice bed that is willing to trade straight up or if it is nicer than mine I am willing to come out of pocket. The reason I am looking to trade if because I am dead set on doing a wood bed and bed fill. This bed had a bed liner and already has a sidefill installed. The fenders are tubbed BIG so you can pretty much put anything you want under there. I would much rather find someone that is willing to trade than go thru all the work of removing the bed liner and filling in the sidefill. Its a shot in the dark... but I am sure there is someone out there that is looking for a side fill bed.

I am NOT willing to downgrade. It has to be of equal quality or better. 67-72... I plan on shaving the marker lights so any of those years will be fine.

Here are some pics...

Here are some pics of the imperfections....

I think the guy before more was loading a motorcycle and it dented this and chipped the paint. nother major.

There are a few small bubbles above the drivers side fenders

and a small crack in the paint above the passangers side fender

The paint has flaked off here... there is no rust here its just the orange that flaked off.

Whats your level of body work skill or were going to farm out any body work needed? I have a SWB bed- floor is pretty much shot/sides are good. Maybe we can work something out. I do realize what you are saying in your post. Just throwing out some ideas. DP

Check out my build on the link, I can get you other pics also.

But I have a wood bed with filled lights, I'd love to switch out with you.

I only have a pic of the bed on page one, but the rear tailights and marker lights have been filled. This truck came from NM so there is absolutely no rust and it is very straight. The tailgate is also shaved, so it is open in the back.

I dont have any body skills at all. I am really looking for something that is complete or pretty close to being complete.

Jon... that does look nice but the lights are a problem for me.. I really want to keep the factory look of the lights.

Re: WTT - Bed for Bed **Lots of Pics**

Yea... i could do that but I would still have to strip the bed liner, fill in the side fill and remove the side fill channel and fill it in. I would rather find someone that wants to do a side fill and do an even swap. If that is even possible.

The sidefill was done really well on this one.

Re: WTT - Bed for Bed **Lots of Pics**

Are you still looking to trade bed? I have a bed off of a 67 shortbed. It has been tubbed but can easily removed. Was like that when I got it. I have a new front panel for the bed being there is a couple round holes cut in it from a roll cage. I like in Kentucky and may be interested in trading you simply because I want to do a sprayed in liner and a side fill. I got this bed from Valdosta Georgia last fall. My cell number is 859-240-4120, if you have any questions. Thanks Doug

Yes... that is correct. Or if someone has some NEW bed panels for trade I am sure we can work out something
