Dual Tank Fuel Level Sending units
I have dual tanks on my truck and noticed that one tank will show full and the other tank shows 7/8's full. Is this a common issue with one after market and one oem sender or is there another issue?

Re: Dual Tank Fuel Level Sending units
I've had the same problem,a couple of times. Some after-market senders have to be "tuned",before installation. This requires removing the sender, and GENTLY bending the float arm, until it just registers full,as the arm is 0.030" off the bottom stop-tab.The + sender wire should be connected, and a ground wire is connected, as a jumper, from the sender plate to vehicle ground.Make the bend 1" above the spot where the float arm touches the tab.UP= full/DOWN= empty.
