Re: Simple Green

Thanks heaps Jesse.

Yeah the bamboo bed looked the goods.....now a chequer plate matte steel finish adorns the rear.

Just about to have installed a high end audio system including some of the best from Audison, Focal and Hertz.

Cheers and will be in touch.

Re: Simple Green

Just saw this truck in Street Trucks (best mag EVER) and had to find the build, absolutely killer. How did you mount the bamboo and was it real bamboo or some home design stuff?

... And, out of sheer curiosity, how much did you sell it for?

Re: Simple Green

BUMP!!

Well here we go.....just thought I would rejuvenate this thread as I now own this truck here in Australia and thought those that had followed this thread and maybe the owner "dirtyrat30" may still be about the traps.

Here are four more pics taken of her in Australia.

The good news is nothing has been changed since I took ownership in February 2015, just a service here and there.

My plans are for an engine transplant from the Edelbrock 350 crate engine to something a little more wilder like a 434 Chev with a pack load of torque.

If the original owner can get in touch with me it would be greatly appreciated.

I've also posted a link to a possible paint code source from tpg global.

I think it is the 226 Mint.

Re: Simple Green

Hello, the color was a custom mix white epoxy sealer tinted with blue, yellow, green & black. Man I wish they would of kept the bamboo bed in the trunk, it was one of its main characteristics. Good luck with it, I put a lot of thought in that build....
