New too 67-72. a few gen questions
most era's of former cars and trucks i have had did have a name for them.. do the 67-72 chevys have a nickname? i used to own a 12v cummins and the owners are considered "the dirty dozen".. also i have 2 lights centered behind grill, 1 green 1 blue i believe that aftermarket?

Wikipedia offers some names for different generations/eras-
Chevrolet has produced full sized pickup trucks under many nameplates and platforms: Chevrolet Advance Design 1947-1955 Chevrolet Task Force 1955-59: Second generation 1967–1972 Production 1967–1972 Chevrolet C/K A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: "Action Line". It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. |
