Bearings in, weird on the wedge, never saw a bearing race installed like that...service manual says to run the nut down until all the space is taken up, then give it a 1/16 - 1/8 turn more. Make sure the streering shaft is straight, when you tighten the retaining nut
Finally, the tilt works....last part of the puzzle was to install the spring to control the return, just a phillips screw driver and alot of pressure ![]() ![]()

Got the wires fed thru the chase, canceling cam installed as well as the adapter for the wheel...getting close to getting outta this mess. Strip and paint cover, probably black

Yep, you guessed it....turnsignal/cruise stalk, as well as turnsignal switch screws have to be removed to get the cover plate on, if you have the red hazard button...
Thats it, next time ill get the three pieces powder coated grey ![]()
