anyone with a truck with paint code 533? Perferably a 67.

I tend to remember your 533 as having to do with the two toned paint job...might be wrong though.

Chewy. I get 533 as 503 light green and 521 white. From your pics I can't tell, but is there any chance that there's light green under the black?

EDIT: Where I said 521 white I should have said 526 Ivory. My bad.

nope. its black right down to the metal. glove box could have possibly been changed though. 67's were all grey and black. can anyone confirm that 533 in 67 was black and white roof?

EDIT: There is a white in 67 code 521, but all the two tones used 526 Ivory for the roof color.
Code 530 is the two tone code for Ivory over black in 67. 500 is the code for black, ditzler number 9000. 526 is the code for Ivory, ditzler number 8290.

the #s do match up and now that you posted that i do beleive that the color code looks like 530. its smudged right on that spot so its hard to read.

I know you are asking specifically about a 1967 model but according to the 1968 Chevrolet truck data book 533 is the Two-Tone for Light Green (503) and Off White (526).

Not sure how much that will help you.

530 is the Two-Tone for black and white, according to the 1968 truck data book.

Black (500) and Off-White (526).

Hopefully that is what you are looking for.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of a two-tone black and white truck.

i do like the black with the white roof just not sure if i want the 67 style paint lines or the 68-72 full top white. That truck looks nice photoshoped.

I prefer the '67 top paint scheme,so on a '67 it would be a no-brainer for me. I'd be tempted to do a 68-72 that way unless going all original.

That member had a wager that no one else could come up with a '67 CST/20 Custom Camper. I told him I knew where one was,just like his but black,on a horse farm up in Pennsylvania (he lived on a horse farm in PA) and egged him on while I had someone photoshop his truck in black. I even told him this really foxy gal drove it who was single. I really had him going before I finally showed him a picture of his own truck!
