static or air bags?

i have a 1969 gms long box i want to lower...thinking 2.5 drop spindles and 3 inch drop springs for the front...6 inch drop springs and 1.5 inch blocks for the rear...so i would be at 5.5/7.5 if i wend bags instead would i get lower? are they better? i would go on the cheap and have shrader valves for the start...if i go bags do i still need spindles? what are the pros/cons thanx for all the help you guys are great...how low can i get if i dont cup the lower a arms? should i static the front and bag the rear?

if you have trailing arms in rear bags are aeasy install.If you have front disk brake already then drop spindles are a great way to get the front lower either way bags/coils.If you got trailing arms then static front and bagged rear sounds like a great start.That way u can tinker with different pressures and ride heigths to get familar with air and where you'd like the truck sit when finished.

Just depends the year truck and can you weld or need a bolt on rear kit?On drop spindles i would buy them either way its the better way to lower the front end.
