Fair price assuming the rings and caps are good.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
they were not factory on 67-72 trucks
depending on how bad they are and how good the trim rings and caps are could b fair or it may b better and cheaper to buy brand new shiny ones i see them on a regular basis in the 80-100 range// somtimes 50 without rings and caps

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
yeah ive seen nice ones for 100 quite a bit in my area. I gave 80 for a set of mint 6 lug ones with caps and rings in drivers shape paint wise and no dings.

Yeah I just don't need em, but I know some body out there needs em. Might make me a couple dollars and resell em.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
It's not a steal,so gettin' iffy on making a buck. I've seen immaculate sets go for $250-$300. You could make money buying something like that for $150'once you found someone wise enough to know the value who needs them. Wheels are restorable (if true with good bead edges). The money is in the caps and rings. A mint set of caps is worth $100 or so.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
My first inclination was to say $150 was no bargain, but.....
I bought a set of 5-lug, eight-inch rims from a guy for $40. Cost me another $40 to get them sandblasted and another $40 for primer and paint. I have some center caps that I found at the boneyard for a couple bucks each, that need paint. So I've got $120 or so invested so far and I still don't have any rings.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
I gave 225 for my set. They had been blasted and painted and had very nice caps and rings. Not perfect by any means but very nice. Saved me the hassle of finding a set and painting them myself and having to buy caps and rings and these were ready to go and I knew they had been done right.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
Are van rallies worth about the same or less in nice condition with nice caps and bands ? And decent tires to boot?

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
You can pay more. You can pay less. But they are still a great looking wheel package that looks good on most anything. I have less than 200 in my set. Still way less than buying all new.

Re: wiw? set 4 factory rally rims
I've been thinking about trading my 5 lug rallys an my 8 lug rims for a decent set of 8 lug rallys lol. I decided not to switch the truck to 5 lug.
