Pictures of DRW to SRW conversion?
I've kinda started thinking about doing a different project. The basics of it is squrae body 4x4 crew cab with a cummins in it (instead of a 67-72 suburban w/ cummins). I may also put a short bed on it, but that would be down the road.
Anyways, it seems that a lot of the crew cabs that are available are DRW, so I'm wondering what it takes to convert to a SRW if I came upon a smoking deal on a DRW. Also what's it cost? I've never messed with a dually before and really not with a 4x4 front axle, so when I did some reading on various sites, I wasn't really following along with all of the terminology, cause there weren't any pictures to go along with their description of the process. |

Re: Pictures of DRW to SRW conversion?
you will need srw front hubs and a srw rear axle, and a fleetside bed of course, my conversion is not complete as my truck is in paint process right now due to different bed color. i have new hubs and a used rear axle to be swaped out next on list. i'll try to get some pics soon
