Serpentine inline 6

After looking around the local yard this afternoon, i noticed that the belt system on an s-10 2.5L are incredibly similar.

Does anyone know if its possible to put that system on my 250?

I would think you could by overcoming 2 issues. First you would have to run an aftermarket balancer like a fluidamper, etc, and mount a serp pulley to it, then you are going to have to modify or fab up brackets to align accesories, and add a tensioner somewhere in the mix.

Perhaps look at the set up from a 4.2L from a GMC Envoy or Chevy Trailblazer?

Re: Serpentine inline 6

Look to medium duty trucks in the 1 1/2 ton class and better. They had 292's in them for sure, and would probably be easier to convert? I know that UPS ran the late model I6's you just gotta find a medium duty junk yard.

Im sure there is going to be some engineering required to make it fit, but would probably be worth it.
