wider wheel tubs

Is there anyone that makes a bolt in wider wheel tub for the fleetside beds?

Re: wider wheel tubs

Well it is better in many ways to weld them in and it is a easy bend of sheet metal in any lenght and a half moon side panel....

Re: wider wheel tubs

I think most people use two standard rear wheel wells to make a wide one by cutting and welding them together. That way you have a stock like appearance, but I'm not sure anyone makes a steel one. I was thinking someone made a fiberglass one, but I can't remember who.

Re: wider wheel tubs

I am making my own in my 79 square body. If you have a local sheet metal shop they should be able to help you out. You would need to make a cardboard template for them.
Here are some pics of mine. 19" wide. They are not done I have been messing with it in my spare time. Will probably sand them, self etch prime them and paint body color.

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.

Check out member ProStreetC10's thread, he built his own by welding two together. I do not believe there is anyone out there that pre-fabricates these specifically for C-10's.

Here is the link to ProStreetC10's thread:
