static drop question
I have a 71 c20 burb with a 292. I installed 2.5" spindles and 2"springs on the front. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but my passenger side is approximately .5"to .75"lower than the drivers side. Before I cut a approximately half a spring off anyone else have any ideas? Thanks

Re: static drop question
Did you measure it before you lowered it? Its not uncommon for these old trucks to be off to start with, but go undetected until we scrutinize them after lowering.
Beyond that, how long has it been lowered? does it need some miles on it to settle in? If not, take a look at the springs to ensure they are seated correctly.

Re: static drop question
Ken had a good point.. To make sure both springs are seated properly, as that may cause one side to be higher.

Re: static drop question
Thanks for the responses. I will try swapping sides. I have checked the seat and it is OK. It has been this way for a while so they should have settled. I've been busy so just now getting to get back ti work on it.
