73-79 clip on 87?

as long as you have all of the parts, it should be pretty much a bolt on deal. I put an 84 clip on my 74, I think I had to drill a couple of holes , but nothin major.

Going from old clip to new truck (assuming complete clip) it just bolts on. Going from new clip to old truck, you have some holes to be cut.
