Header issues

i bought a pair of headman headers and its seems like the passenger side header is not allowing to make good mating connection with the head after bolts have been snugged firmly, due to the mounting bracket for the leaf spring... any help would be very useful

unfortunely even tho you spend good money on headers you still have to do a little heating and banging with a hammer to get them to work sometimes
mine look like they were in a hail storm but i bought cheap ones but they were stainless steel. and i have angle plug heads. So try the hammer don't look like it would take much

Re: Header issues

Headers are a pita, In your case I would try to put a big long pipe in the collector and pull the other end of it the other way using some ratchet straps or a come along. while banging the header around a lil' I must say though the ball flanges on the hedmans are great and really help out with sealing angled pipes. I've never had a fit problem with hedmans either

Re: Header issues

After looking at the header itself the mating surface is bent outwards preventing it from seating... I called headman and they are sending another pair.
