Fuel Gauge Resistors..?
Would anyone know which of these Resistors...if any, would be right for the fuel gauge?
The one that's on there at the momment is totally different to these, it's not ceramic, more like a brown fibre deal with thin wire wraped around it. Thanks.

Re: Fuel Gauge Resistors..?
I think it is the lighter blue one, but that is just a gut feel. Not sure I have ever seen orange or yellow.

Re: Fuel Gauge Resistors..?
Nigel,
I dug out a bunch of my fuel gauges and took a couple of pictures, Looks like most either had the "orange" one or the thin one you are refering to, only one had a "blue" one. I think it does not matter which one as long as they are same resistance |

Re: Fuel Gauge Resistors..?
Thank you for taking the time to do that mate, your collection has answered my question...thank goodness I have an orange one. The colors must indicate the different resistance, but I have no idea what that would be, wish they had a simple number stamped on them.
Cheers Livrat.
