350 tbi years

hey guys i bought a 1990 1500 burb that had a tbi 350 in it and a 700r4 trans im wondering sence po took out the engine and trans before i bought it what year motor can i got get and hook up to harness wanting a tbi motor are the 88-91 the only motors that will work

1982 k25 with 86 cab tired 350 4speed trans 37in military tires.(project Frankenstein). 8.
1984 c30 crew cab dually 6.2diesel next project
only 18 and finshed 5 projects started when i was

I'm pretty sure 87-94 tbi motors are all the same, but just make sure you get the cpu if you get the engine and trans from a truck with the 4l60e or 4l80e trans, they are electronically controlled unlike the 700r4.

You might have a couple of minor differences, like the TPS is a different design in the later years, and they switched to serpentine belt drive and accessories around '90 or so.

I am pretty sure '87 TBIs had the old dual belt setup and a couple other differences. Same as '95 I think they had a few more upgrades then the other years. That being said the '87-'95 350 TBIs should all work for you. If you do get a whole donor truck do make sure to pull the computer and everything to go with it. Good luck.

It's best to get it anyway just incase. Like stated above there are small differences in the engines over the years.
