FlowMaster
I Bought New Flow Tech Headers For My 86 2500 with the 350 i got true dual original flow master 40s on their now but i think they are starting to lose their tone, i have been looking into the Flowmaster 10 series witch is louder than the 40s. i was wondering if any of you out their have the 10 series on your trucks and how do you like the sound and tone of it? post of videos if you have any i found some on youtube but their all on new trucks i wanted to know what it would sound like on a carburated motor thanks

Re: FlowMaster
Step one cut off muffler. Step two add big 5 gallon drum to tailpipe. Step three rev it up and bam that's a ten series
If your serious about sound that kills look into spintech Posted via Mobile Device

Re: FlowMaster
I heard a pair of 10 series on an otherwise stock 305 with an old cam shoved in it that was way to big for it. It was just a temporary motor for the truck so it could be driven. Anyway, it sounded really wicked. Certainly made that little motor sound much bigger and meaner than it was.
They are really loud though, about all they do is take the raspy element out of the open header sound.

Re: FlowMaster
I have 40's on my 305 tpi with a little cam..It was so loud in my cab that I had to put resonaters in front of the mufflers to tone it down a little. I'm hoping after I chop off the 3" tailpipes and go with 2.5" that it might get a little quieter. They are banging on the rearend every time I run over a cigarette butt since the flip kit.
