Tilt help please for my 70 SWB

I have a tilt to put in but the non-tilt in my truck has a bracket towards the end of the shaft to switch the gears and it has one to keep it in lock, it catches the nipple/bump part. The tilt doesn't have the part to lock out the lever in park, but the other ones i've seen are the same as my tilt. Does it need that other bracket to keep it in park or does it just come off of the original non-tilt? Any help is appreciated.
