I've had one from a different vendor for about 6 years. It will be the last carrier you'll need to buy.

CPP Poly Carrier Bearing... Doesn't fit 3/4 ton!!! <<<HELP ME>>>
Well today I found out that the awesome looking Poly Carrier Bearing does not fit my 3/4 ton and they don't make one that does.
CPP is gonna have me return it and they're refunding me for the part. So tonight after work is definitely time to drowned my sorrows LOL Does anyone know where to get a Poly 3/4 ton carrier bearing? I thought about going with a 1 piece driveshaft but all the drive line places around here don't want to build one that long.

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
I just went through this with them. They don't say in they're catalog that this does not fit the 3/4 ton drive-shaft.I'm pretty sure that these are made by Inland Empire Drivelines. They do make the correct one for the 3/4 ton but it is not billet. It looks like the normal horseshoe one except it has the poly core instead of rubber. The drive-shaft diameter is approx. 1-3/8 so you have to have the bearing with the right inside dia.I have not purchased this yet so I cannot comment on it. Good luck. Bob

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
My issue is the other poly one that looks like stock just doesn't seem stout enough. it still has the air gaps in the poly like stock. I love the rigidity of the CPP poly bearing. I'm gonna do some calling around with the local driveline shops and see if I can cross refference another poly bearing with a different year. If not I'm either gonna go 1 piece or have a custom carrier bearing/driveline made.

Any body have a cross reference for an awesome carrier bearing? I'm tired of replacing carriers.

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
Forgive me everyone, but I have a dumb beginner question about these carriers, and the stock one for that matter. I have just glanced at mine and am looking at the CPP poly one pictured and am curious how to install. Does one of the yokes come off the drive line so that you can slip these on?

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
yep there is a bolt in the end that you take out pull it off put on the new yolk and bolt it back together...

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
Mine slips apart no bolts. This is the driveshaft from my C20. My carrier bearing slides over the splines

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
I just buy the standard one for my 2 piece driveshaft. If you drive like an old grandpa like me than should be fine. Most drive reckless so they need something more stable.

Re: CPP Poly Driveshaft Carrier... Thoughts?
Yeah that would be me. I can destroy a carrier in 6 months. I'm just tired of replacing it with the same everytime with the same outcome. I'm thinking about designing one myself.
