Re: My 70 swb has a 327

I am aware of the casting numbers, I just never really kept up with or translated it to what heads had witch numbers. My 327 is def not built to race spec, It was a crate motor. My truck came from the local school dist. It was driven by the head of the bus shop. He had a large stack of 327 engines that gm gave the school a deal on when they stopped the new 327 replacement program. He had saved this last crate 327 for "his Truck" and a few years before he retired he had it put in. They told me it had less than 2000 miles on it. It is stock with a bottom pulley that seems like it can turn 15 belts. My plan was to put in a 260 or 268h cam, 600 Edelbrock and a performer intake and an hei along with the serpintine setup.
