NP205 shifter knob

Anybody have a source for a good condition knob for a 70's/80's transfer case knob. I love to get a near new one, but right now I don't have anything. Building a poor mans show truck.

thanks

Re: NP205 shifter knob

I've got a few of them, nothing show quality, and I plan on using the best one for my own truck. If your interested I could possibly get some pic's.

Re: NP205 shifter knob

There is one on the 74 with 203 I am parting out. I will check the condition tomorrow. I assume the thread pattern and shape are the same for 203 and 205??

Re: NP205 shifter knob

A search on NP205 knob should bring up threads showing what tractor knob is the same as what 67-72s use but without the white shifter pattern. Just a plain knob but the correct look.

Re: NP205 shifter knob

I believe the NP205 shifter knob with the shifter pattern engraved into the knob was a 71-72 only item. The earlier ones were smooth and after 72 they changed the shape of the knob. I have 5 of these knobs, 2 I'm using the other 3 are for sale. I don't have any pic's at this time but will try and get some posted soon. In the next couple of days.

Re: NP205 shifter knob

I have 3 nice driver quality knobs, not show, but very nice, the white has been redone, there is the normal schufs & scratches for 30 + years of use. I took a pic and will try to post it tomorrow.

Re: NP205 shifter knob

I realize this is an old thread, but I recently swapped the 203 for a rebuilt 205 and would like a knob like this. I can't seem to find one in the LMC or Classic Industries catalog. Thanks for any help in this. - Daniel U
