What MPG should I be getting?

What MPG should I have 4X4 longbed with 33" tires 4.56 gears w/posi and 700R4?

If you are lucky, you will break past 10mpg. More realistically expect about 8-10. After some tuning, it might get 12, but that is about the max for a 4x4.

what engine? - BTW why do you have different gear ratios from front to back? that is very bad for the 4X4 system.

I have 3.07 in the front
4.56 inthe rear

Hmmmm May be someone switched one of the axels ?? I always thought they were to be matching ratios, otherwise the odd tire rotation would be hard to control on steering

drove 107 miles and filled up 8gallons. = 13.375 mpg

to bad the speedo is off and not adjusted for my setup

so I am probably doing more like 10mpg

I hope you are not using 4 wheel drive in this thing, EVER! You can tear something up for sure if you do. You are putting undo stress on the drivetrain and this can pop a spider gear, u-joint or damage the transfer case. You REALLY need to address this issue. Ratio variance front to rear should be no more than 1% for the street and 2% for offroad.

I had a friend of mine check it out for a few feet,
when I noticed the back tires skipping, I told him to stop
and get out of 4X4 mode.

sucks that I can't use 4x4, waiting and hopeing the guy that sold
me the truck will fix the problem
