Rim size
Are the stock rim 15x6 or 15x7? I am trying to decide on keeping and redoing them or getting smoothies. If I keep them what tire size would look good? I have 235/75/15. I like the wide white wall lowered look.

Re: Rim size
I believe that the factory's are 6 lug 15x6. I have run 235/75/15 and they fill it out nicely but bulge a little. I now have 215/75/15 up front and 235 on rear.
I did price out those WWW and they are $$$$ compared to a blackwall.

Re: Rim size
The original rims on my 1960 GMC were 15x5 with optional 7.10-15 tires. By 1962 they may have moved up to 15x6 rims, but I’m pretty sure 15x7’s were still many years in the future.

Re: Rim size
Thanks for the response. I think your right about 6in. They don't look that deep. I can't decide if I want the different tire sizes or say with the same size all around. There is a pic of the rims on my build page I just updated. 1962 c10 update.
