I need help determining how wide I can go.

I've got a set of the 5 lug 15 x 8" truck rally rims. I plan on widening my rims and I want to go as wide as I can and not stick out any from the fender. Does anyone know how wide I can go in the front and rear on my rims?

I was thinking 1" to the outside on the fronts and 1" inside and 1" outside on the rears. Is that possible?

It may be cheaper to just buy new wheels. i have seen the rally wheels in wider widths. are the wheels oem? if so you could sell them to offset the cost. not sure what the back spacing is on them but no more than 5.5 on the rear and 5 on the front.
