Re: The Toybox
I hear ya there. But my other cars are a 95 Civic, (ask the locals, not exactly a gem.) And the wife drives an 01 Jeep Cherokee. And I still can barely make changes on the truck 3 times a year. But we will have big changes real soon! Real soon, indeed.

Re: The Toybox
I'll have another truck sometime down the road. If anything the board has really helped me refine what I really want. I'm trying to stick to the good things come to those who wait philosophy. Sometimes it's easier said than done.

Re: The Toybox
Love the hockey stripe. You can also wash seatbelts in a washing machine...drip dry.

Re: The Toybox
Pop's C-10: That was a spray bomb. It is pretty close to how I am going to paint the truck though. There are a few OE colors out there like that. Honda has one, Toyota has a tri-coat that's close, GM has had a few, Dodge has one on the new trucks that is pretty close too. Hit me up if you have a question on those. Or if you want help finding them.
rayfinseats: Thanks for the comment on the stripe. It is fun for now. I get alot of comments on it around town. The seat belts were not too bad to wash in the bucket. But the dye did not work a bit.

Re: The Toybox
Plans are changing.
I have come to the decision that it is time to get rid of the Toybox and get something that is more family friendly. So, I am going to be selling this one and/or trading it to get a 60-66 Suburban. My Grandpa gave me a 64 GMC pickup at age 16. I have always wanted it back. Now, I will...but as a family hauler. Once I get my subscription renewed I will list it officially. But just thought I should give an update.

Re: The Toybox
Sweet man. Do you already have a lead on a burb, or is the search starting after the "Toybox" is sold?

Re: The Toybox
Have have my eyes on a couple, all stock type projects. But I have to sell the truck first. My wife told me one day a couple weeks ago that I wanted all of the family to be involved with truck stuff that I would need a different truck. One that we could all fit in. So, this is where I go with it.
Here's to finding a good one soon! I want this over with before I talk myself out of it.

Re: The Toybox
I miss this truck. I will probably miss it less once the Suburban is put together and I can drive it. But today...I miss this one.
