Leaf springs for blazer

Sorry guys, for taking so long to see this. my show is coming up soon and that all I have been doing. I have my old springs that I do not need any more, let me know if you want them.

Hey Blazin, almost done with the bag install. I know it has taken a while, but I can only work on it some times. Also trying to get things ready for the move to Colorado Springs at the end of the month. Soon as I get it completed I will get some pics up.

Travis, no worries about not seeing it sooner. Thanks for the offer of the springs, but I am liking the air over leaf and will probably be going totally air ride in the near future.

you can take your springs to a spring shop and have them arched for about 50.00 a side and get the ride height you want. I had also considered buying springs form this web site that indicates the 4x4 springs as having !" more arch. http://www.sdtrucksprings.com

Its air now, but it did work very well with the leafs..

What type of suspension are you using in the rear of your blazer? 4-link, 3-link, 6-link, the list goes on!! How do you like the way yours handles now? I was told that 4-link, etc. are best for straight line driving not for handling and wanted to get your opinion. Thanks.

so volleyballer how does the bag kit work on yours as far as ride and did it help level it and not bottom out

I actually took them off and put different springs back on. While I had them on, it adjusted the height great, but I don't have the time to relocate the shocks right now since we are moving next week and have lots of loose ends to tie up. I have the blazer up for sale right now, but if I don't get what I want for it, then I will be putting a 3,4,or 6 link setup (per Travis' recommendation) in it once we get to Colorado.

I am about to have to deal with this on my Suburban. I happen to have the heavy half rear springs from a truck I parted out. Will it get me any height to use those or just a stiffer ride?

What I ended up using was a 2 link, it’s easy to put on and it works good. I used my front handers for the link bars so no welding on that. The panhard bar you will have to weld it to your frame and then reared. So over all yes I would do it again like this.
