followed me home... again....

spotted this on craigslist last weekend and ended up hauling it back home last night to my wifes dissapointment (and anger).... Its a two owner 68 Custom with 250 inline (was a 307 until 1971), 3speed with OD, 3.73 posi, air and a tach dash... couldnt resist. Sheet metal is pretty much all gone so I will probably part out in the next few days and post in the parts forum, but I had to post it here too, cuz everyone likes pics. Here are the teasers...

Re: followed me home... again....

yeah i couldnt pass it up.... thought i may get lucky with buddy buckets, but ended up getting an OD that I have been looking for for a long time... I actually called on it about an hour after it posted and someone else had committed to pick it up the following day.... the other guy didnt show so he called me back and gave me a crack at it... my wife is way pissed but shes legally obligated to deal with it .... The tach dash, posi rear and the tinted glass made the purchase and the trip to st cloud worth it. But it is sooooo rotten that ill have things on the parts board this weekend more than likely....
