Is it worth it

do you guys thinks it would be worth swapping in a c4 irs under a 78 Gmc sierra swb if so what kind of things would i need to get in order to make it work thanks

To know if its "worth it" we will need to know your objective for considering the swap? Are you trying to improve the ride, handling, or just increase the cool factor?

I wouldn't run a irs its pricey and how light the rear end of these trucks is traction would be fun.If you want to lower it i would look in a 4 link with air bags,Or there is a kit to use the trailing arm rear like the 67-72 used on the 73-87.If money is no limit a 3 link with a watts link will handle amazing but will be pricey.
