Hi Jessie! Welcome! Im also in Houston!
Though I pondered the notion of a front clip, I'm glad I kept my 59 stock. I've also found that its difficult to be a penny pincher, it will still be pricey with untold hours working on it! I just wonder why one, has to have a front clip? For me, if I should ever be fortunate enough to get it roadworthy, it will be driven to nifty50ee's, to moms, and an occasional night out for some tea! Lol. Amorget: i have an opportunity to buy a LT1 with a 700R transmission. so wondering what rear end i could use, keep in mind this will be a daily driver, or weekend cruiser, but not looking to race or leave my tires on the black top.

Another step, I think I got a good deal today, i bought a LT1 with a 700R4 transmission for 600.00 so one step closer.....about 10 million more to go.... LOL
