WTB swb driveshaft 54" long
I am looking for a one piece driveshaft for my 70 swb truck that I swapped a 700r4 into. In the past, I have found that the later model one piece drivshafts will fit. I am not sure if it has to be out of a truck originally equipped with a 700r4 or not, but it does need to be 54" long.

Re: WTB swb driveshaft 54" long
The square body short beds with 700R4s or 9 inch TH350s also use the same length driveshaft. They're usually smaller diameter too than the later model (88 up) trucks use. That's handy if your truck is lowered because it gives more clearance through the hole in the crossmember.
I've personally used an 83 model short bed 700 driveshaft and a 94 model short bed driveshaft on earlier trucks. Sure beats having one made.
