CD Player Install Questions
I have a 1977 GMC 1500 I am trying to install a new Cd player in. The new unit is DIN sized and the old truck has a cut out for a old shaft style radio. Any suggestions?
Thanks! . . Kevin |

You will need to cut the dash bezel, and the metal behind the bezel as well. If you measure and draw your lines nicely, you can make a very nice cutout for the DIN style unit.

This is exactly what I want to do! I have a fold down face Clarion DRX 7574. You mention an aftermarket mounting kit. This is what I am looking for. What brand and model is it? Where did you find it? All I have is just the DIN sized head unit. Do you have any better or close up pictures of the unit as it sits in your dash? The photos are kind of dark on your web page. Thanks for answering! . .
