hardware to replace rivits
I removed the spring hangers and other stuff to smooth the frame rails and was wondering what the hardware of choice is in place of the factory rivits that attached everything.

You can't go wrong with the appropriate sized grade 8 bolts.

I wish they originally used bolts to put these together. But that's What I use too. Besides if you ever need to change something-zip,zip and your done.

Yeah, I thought about that when I had to chisel the crossmember off my 69. They probably figured nobody will be foolish enough to dismantle the parts.

I used 3/8 inch fine thread grade 8 bolts on the wrecker project. Ain't goin nowhere.
