xmember sand blasting cost
I've got my xmember disassembled and am about to get everything blasted.
xmember, upper and lower arms, centerlink, spindles- I have never got any prices before, I was curious what would be an acceptable price range to have this done. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. - thanks in advance |

Re: xmember sand blasting cost
We blasted our entire frame over about 6 hrs using 350 pounds of sand in a 30lb sandblasting pot, and maitaing 90psi at the pot. If you have the place and a compressor able to handle the supply I suggest renting a pot from the local tool rental store. We borrowed ours from a friend. I would think just doing a front cross member you could do it yourself for under $50 renting the blaster.

Re: xmember sand blasting cost
ok- thanks guys- I just didn't want to hear a place say $150 only to find out that the normal charge would be around $50.
I guess I'll start shopping around. |
