litew8 you are right! I never even thought about that but on other things that I have Variprimed they were that yellow also. I have a yellow tailgate in my shop as we speak. In earlier post I talked about why I didn't want to POR the outside of it. It may be just me but I can never get it to stick on blasted metal. Even when I use the right steps it does not seem to work just right. I think that in the past my main problem has been dry air which I have since rectified though. The biggest reason I did not want it on the outside is the difficulty in touching up. I tried to touch it up in the past and can never get the color to match and it peels off on me. Like I said it may be just me. Also I am planning on painting every single thing that is going to be black on the entire vehicle (every bolt, bracket) with the exact same paint. What I am planning on using is Pro Spray (some English paint company that SPI recommended) single stage urethane. The color is Jet Black. Except the trailing arms, control arms, brake calipers, and engine block will be Pro Spray SS urethane Hugger Orange.
