72 Door Alignment
I swapped out body mounts and it has affected my door alignment much more than I thought it would. The old were definitely the OEM mounts and they were well worn, front passenger was gone completely.
My question is what is the best process for alignment at this point, remove front fenders and fit doors to the bed pillar? I have seen tools to set this alignment from Eastwood ($$$) but do I still need to remove the fenders? I am assuming so but how much play can I get out of the fenders one doors are set? I have other issues with these doors but the re-mans are high and decent originals or truck doors are even higher. Like to try to get these to work for a driver. Thanks for any help K5 gurus. |

Re: 72 Door Alignment
No, just the bikini top. I'm thinking it was aligned with the front ones missing the last time it was painted (cheeep scuff and shoot by PO). I assume by your tone this will make a big difference....
