trans question
So i have a buddy that's giving his truck its a 1994 gmc with a 350 to a recycling place for scrap it has a manual trans it has a low then 1st 2nd 3rd 4th I don't know what the trans is but he said I could have any thing from the truck
I have a 1972 Chevy with a 350 and a manual trans will that work as a swap and will it benifit me?? Posted via Mobile Device |

It should bolt right up. Just make sure you take clutch pedals and zbar

The 94 is gonna have an intragel bellhousing and hydralic clutch. There are some on here that use that trans but it is not exactly a bolt on. Also be aware the trans from the 94 has an electric speedo so you will have needs there to be addressed. Unless it is a 3/4 ton with the c6p package [8 hole wheels] Then it will have a removeable bell that may fit into your bellhousing and then you can use your clutch setup but still has the ele speedo thing
