No it isn't an aluminum block (unfortunately), it is a 427T block that is bored and stroked. It was painted silver to match the body color of the truck. Now that I am going to paint the truck white though am painting it the orange because I do not want a white engine. It does have AFR aluminum heads.

Please don't paint the aluminum heads or intake. It's like lowering a 4x4 truck.

Spray on wire wheel cleaner and a soft brush will make them look like new again.
