81-87 dash pad

tried to buy OER brand dash pad from Summit Racing $189.95 plus $9.50 shipping. As I was giving the guy my credit card info, he informed me the shipping was $19.00. When I asked why he said it was a mistake. And I said forget it. Now they won`t leave me alone trying to sell it to me for the $9.50 shipping. Are these by chance a POS and that`s why they are so cheap. I am very cautious now until I hear from someone who owns one

If the product is actually manufactured by OER, then it will probably be a decent product. I have never ordered interior or exterior body parts from Summit, so I can't comment on exactly what product they are selling.

No, it's a urethane replacement.

I've seen at least one thread where someone wasn't overly impressed with them, but I'd like to hear more feedback as well as I've considered buying one.

I dont think anyone makes one to the OEM standards but if yours is cracked and broken to pieces then id order it. if nothing else it will look better than the original.

Re: 81-87 dash pad

I found this place through a project thread on here the other day.

http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....ega~~~~A60~A51

They have foam covered with vinyl dash pads for $225 + shipping.
