5.3 swap/tbi wiring

engine is in and now comes the part of dealing with the wiring, i have searched for hours but haven't found any info on what wires to keep from the tbi or do they all go?

looks like you have a nice truck there. For wires from the truck, you pretty much only need a key-on power and the purple starter wire. If you were asking about converting the engine harness check www.lt1swap.com

thanks... have followed site for a couple years now, and my question is more on the tbi harness what wires do i need and what dont i need? i already rewired the 5.3 harness and have the 3 wires ready to go werever they need to go

Gut everything from the TBI ECM and wiring harness. Start clean from your truck to the new harness. You will need constant hot, keyed hot, and the starter wire
