I haven't tried it with the engine in so I may be missing something but I always figured I would block the engine up under the pan after I had the jack stands under the frame. Maybe that wouldn't leave enough room to get the cross member assembly out. I haven't really looked at one that close with the engine in.... I bet it isn't going to be a lot of fun with the engine in. LockDoc
