auto to a standard
i have an 86 lwb square body with a th350 tranny. i would like to swap it to a 5 speed manual BUT ... i have absolutely no idea what i need in order to do nor do i even know what to look at for a tranny ! to anyone with experience, any info on this matter would greatly be appreciated !

You would need:
Transmission(nv3500 or NV4500) clutch flywheel master cylinder slave cylinder crossmember relocated (maybe) driveshaft shortened (maybe) clutch pedal It is a little work but not that bad. Moving the neutral safety switch to the pedal is fun under the dash. Good luck with it. |

Is this going to be more of a street rod or going to be for hauling, if it is a street rod i don't think you would want to go with the NV3500 or 4500, maybe something out of a camaro or the like though, just my $.02 though.

im in the process of doing the same thing to my 85 c10 but i bought a borg warner super t10 for mine.
