Found a good GM website
I was searching for gm storage of old prototype vehicle and found this website, Dont know if it been pasted here before, But look in the archive for you year of truck and it will bring up all kinds of data from gm. and its a PDF and printable. Here is the link. I guess copy and paste

Never mind It posted to just click on it and you will need to scroll down on the and look where it say click here for vehicle information, then scroll down to chevorlet trucks.

I looked at the '68 El Camino and what it is, is a photocopy of the Dealer Sales Book, used by dealerships to order new vehicles. I picked that one because of the one I drove in 'Nam, that was used as a chase vehicle for the U-2.
