The LCD video display located in the auto-dimming rearview mirror. When paired with a backup camera the display shows a real-time panoramic view of the rear of the vehicle. The bright, high-resolution display appears through the mirror glass automatically when the vehicle is shifted into "reverse" it disappears when the vehicle is shifted into any other gear.

how easy is the install for this?

Its pretty easy, you will need to drill a hole in the bottom of the gate. The kit comes with a template and a grommet. run the video cable down the length of the truck. There is enough room to pass the cable in where the e-brake cable comes inside. Run the video cable up the A-piller. The Gentex RCD mirror comes with its own harness. You would need to hook up a power and ground. And of coarse tuck in the wires/cable and your ready to go.
