Re: has anyone seen a 88-98 model?

AMT/MPC made them! I built an 88 longbox to represent the truck i used to own. They pop up from time to time on ebay! They had a regular cab long bed, a sportside, and the ss 454 for the skill level 2 kits! For the snaptogether, they had the extended cab longbed, the custom dually, the 96 dually, and the 96 tahoe!

You could also buy a promo for cheap. They made a Sportside. These are assembled and all one factory color. You can disassemble them, paint, and reassemble. The kits will be by AMT,since MPC was gone by the late-80s.

Re: has anyone seen a 88-98 model?

I picked up a few of the GM in box plastic models a few years back, chopped up a few and still have a few ripped apart....hahaha. Was planning on making one to look like mine as well but never got that far. Got to far into the real things since.

They made a reg cab long, extended cab long for sure.....other than that not sure what would be available. Never found nothing in a decent size in a diecast.

Re: has anyone seen a 88-98 model?

I got the 96 dually for its frame and a regular cab to put on it to make a rollback but I haven't done anything with it in a long while.

Re: has anyone seen a 88-98 model?

I have 2 454ss models. One red with two broken rear wheels(younger cousin got a hold of it) and one black with removable toneau cover and missing rear bumper(also a victim).
