what brake system for my 3/4 ton?

So if I am putting '75 3/4 ton 4x4 axles under my '72 GMC 4x4 and am needing power brakes, how would I go about doing this?

What master cylinder and power brake booster, what brakes lines are going to be different, etc.?

I am wanting to do this right but do it without killing the budget. Is there a year of truck that I can strip, what can or should I buy used, etc?

Thanks guys.

I'm running 3/4 tons on a 77 chassis. I once had disks front and drums rear but running all disks now. I am using the original booster and master from a 67 with drum brakes. Have never had a problem and it stops great. I do change the pads regularly and use the cheap ones. (They seem to work better)

I think all you have to do is replace the brake hoses running from the calipers to frame . 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton are different . Replace the power booster with 3/4 ton . 71/72 3/4 ton power booster set -up will bolt right up .
I am assuming your 4x4 is 1/2 ton ?

Ok, so if I get a 3/4 ton brake booster and master cylinder from a '71 or '72 3/4 ton and then got 3/4 ton brake lines down by the axles for a '75 3/4 ton, that should do the trick?

Thanks guys for the input. Now to do some hunting.
