Installing firewall pad

I have a '72 Cheyenne with air conditioning. Is the firewall insulation pad for this truck a 2-piece or a 3-piece? I've been told that an air-conditioned truck doesn't get a pad on the right side (where the A/C box or passenger's feet are). I've also been told by LMC that non-A/C trucks get a 3-piece insulation pad. Confusing.

Any help or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks.
