Hydroboost setup in '66 w/LS motor

I'm currently running manual brakes, disc up front (wilwood d52) and drums out back. I have an lq4 w/the hydroboost ps pump....so what do I need to get, and do to set it up?

I imagine I'll need the hydroboost unit, and a new master cylinder? OR does my MC mount to the hydroboost unit?

I'll probably need to get a mounting bracket from captainfab as well.

Does it matter which year parts I get, or do I have to use later model stuff because of the newer model ps pump?

A thread I made up a couple months back. It's not a '66, but I can't imagine it would be much different. You're a crafty guy, so it shouldn't be too much of a headscratcher for you.

Good luck!

Ahhhh, ok...so that thread helps a bit.

This one i think shows me what I wanted to see. Its PS Pressure -> Boost IN -> Boost Pressure ->Steering In -> Steering Return -> Pump return ?

Whats with the capped return on the HB unit?

Yeah, you got it. I didn't have the install complete when I took those pics and posted the thread, so I guess it could be a little confusing. The capped return is indeed a low pressure return, and should not be capped. It gets T'd into the steering gear return, or more accurately, the steering gets T'd into it on its way back to the pump.

Some pics I just snapped today for you:

I didn't modify the brake pedal itself any, but I did a little work to the bracket itself, since I smoothed the firewall. I basically sectioned about 1.5" from the front of the bracket, because that's about how far back I moved the firewall when I smoothed it. CLick the link in post #2 for some shots of the clevis attachment to the pedal.

Here is a shot of the sectioned brake bracket:
