The "new" build consist of a few changes but keeping the over all look of the truck. We are adding a LS3/4L70E, Power Steering, 1" Forward/ 1" Narrowed Porter Built Control Arms, Narrowed Rear End (6"), Mob Steel Wheels with her same hub Caps (18 front 20 rear) with Tall Tires. (we don't like the rubber band look lol) The frame has been powder coated along with the suspension components. The Engine will maintain the LS look with a carb style intake and Air Cleaner. Under hood will be Painted and detailed to a degree. I'm on Instagram mostly but I'll try to get back here and post pics!!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Maggie's Custom

I got some rusty white hubs caps off of e-bay! We started cleaning them up with a little CLR! Looking for some chrome hub caps too!!!
One of the four I bought had been primered so I took some paint thinner to get it all off.

Here she is cleaning rust off of them and the one I got the primer off of is laying on the ground. Still have one more to do as we ran out of time.

Got a bunch more free metal yesterday to do the rear of my bag mounts!
Went to the junk yard and got a spare wheel (also waiting on two rear wheels) flexplate, and non tilt steering column (all of the tilts we gone!) until I can find a tilt.
As soon as my notches come in its on!!

Re: Maggie's Custom

You're making some good progress.

I hope you are planning on replacing those bolts attaching the rear end to the trailing arms with U-bolts.
