Rattling windows

The windows in my 72 rattle when they are rolled down. All the rubber is new, it looks like the rubber in the division bars have a slot wider than the glass is thick. I bought the rubber from Classic Parts, are these low quality parts? Who sells a division bar liner that fits the glass tighter? It's really annoying to close the door and hear the glass bouncing around!what else can I do to stop them from rattling? Thanks!

Re: Rattling windows

I am guessing your window felt is missing. See LINK below.

Re: Rattling windows

New window channel runs and felts and wipers will stop the rattles.

Re: Rattling windows

All the felt, weather stripping, wipers are all new, the windows rattled when I installed it all, the rubber around the top and rear of the windows fit tight, it's the felt lined division bar that is loose, the window wiggles in the front. I'm looking to see if where to buy a division bar strip that actually holds the glass tight. The ones I bought from Classic Parts didn't hold the glass, the felt lined channel is too wide. Where can I buy good ones? Thanks!
