Anyone notch their crossmember for a BBC Large Oil Pan?
hello any pics and advice on notching my crossmember to allow for a extra large BBC oil pan would be great....

I going with a full length boat style dry sump pan...

You would be better off building a tubular crossmember to fit around the pan and dry sump lines that will give you the strength you need and maintain good ground clearance. The easy way out would be to run a high capacity wet sump pan instead.

ya I going to have to build me a tubular cross member,,, it's the cleanest way to do it
